The interactive classroom can enhance many aspects of a university course. While there are many ways to encourage student participation, i>clicker has helped ensure that all students have the ability to participate. This webinar will describe how i>clicker has allowed inquiry learning to expand into the large lecture environment. The ability to make a guess and see immediately how that guess fits into the instructors expectation and the understanding of your peers makes the classroom a much more dynamic and interesting place. It also presents students with immediate feedback that allows them to confront misconceptions early and to work with their peers to ensure that they have an understanding of the material. We will discuss how to structure questions that encourage thinking and participation.
