Instructors may be less likely to implement clickers in courses of fifty or less, but i>clickers can be used to benefit student learning in smaller classes. Yet implementing a student response system in a smaller group also brings new challenges for professors and students.

In this webinar, Dr. Angel Hoekstra drew upon data from doctoral and postdoctoral research with students to address the question, “Why would one add clickers to a smaller class?” Dr. Hoekstra also outlined the pros and cons of clicker use in both small and large courses, comparing data from clicker use in an introductory course of fifteen to that of the same course enrolling 100 students.
