October 28, 2009: The i>clicker ID Finder is a simple application that accepts students’ votes and then displays the i>clicker ID on the instructor’s base LCD. This is useful in situations where the i>clicker ID is illegible on the remote.

Should I purchase an i>clicker remote or REEF Polling by i>clicker?

i>clicker offers the option to participate in class using either an i>clicker remote or REEF Polling by i>clicker. REEF Polling allows you to participate using an iOS device (e.g., iPhone or iPad), Android device, or a laptop or device that supports a modern web browser (e.g., Windows phone).


Which option you purchase will largely depend on how you prefer to participate in class. If you choose to purchase REEF Polling, it is recommended that you first verify that your instructor allows the use of laptops and/or mobile devices in class and that s/he intends to “Enable” REEF Polling for mobile use.


How do I purchase an i>clicker remote?

i>clicker remotes can typically be purchased in your campus bookstore. Please check your course list or ask your instructor how to attain an i>clicker remote.


How do I purchase REEF Polling by i>clicker?

Visit reef-education.com (or download the REEF Polling by i>clicker app from the Apple or Google app stores). Click Sign Up or Create an Account to create a REEF account. If you have not already created an account you will receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial expires you will be prompted to purchase a REEF Polling subscription. If you do not have access to a credit card you may be able to purchase a REEF Polling access card from your campus bookstore.
